Cookie Policy
Terms and Conditions
ON-TRA GmbH complies with the EU ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC and the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679. Essential cookies that are required for the platform to function are set when you use our e-learning services. All other cookies are only set if you choose to accept them in our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time, as described under Managing cookies below.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you access our website. They contain information about your device and browsing activity.
How we use cookies
We use cookies to provide you with a better user experience and to enhance the functionality of our e-learning services. Cookies that are not essential for the platform to function are only set after you have given your consent.
The cookies we use fall into the following categories:
1.
Essential cookies: These cookies are necessary for our platform to function properly. They enable basic features such as page navigation and access to secure areas of the platform.
2.
Performance cookies: These cookies help us to improve the performance and functionality of our platform. If you accept all cookies, we also use Microsoft Clarity, an analytics service, to understand how our platform is used, such as which pages you visit, how you interact with them and any errors you encounter. Text you type is masked and is not stored. This helps us to identify and fix issues, and to improve the overall user experience.
3.
Operational cookies: These cookies enable us to remember your preferences and have a secure way to verify that it's actually you who is using our platform. For example, we may use cookies to remember your language preference or to store your progress in a course.
4.
Payment cookies: These cookies are used during a payment transaction and ensure that your details remain secure and encrypted.
Advertising cookies: If you accept all cookies, we use Google Ads cookies to measure whether our advertisements lead to course purchases and to improve our campaigns. Information collected by these cookies is shared with Google and Microsoft. If you do not accept all cookies, no advertising or analytics cookies are set; when you complete a purchase, we only send Google a cookie-free confirmation of that purchase (order number, value and currency), which does not store anything on your device and is not used to build a profile of you. We never sell your information.
Managing cookies
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies, or to configure your browser to notify you when a cookie is set. However, please note that blocking or deleting cookies may affect your user experience on our platform. If you delete the cookies stored by our platform, the cookie banner will ask for your choice again on your next visit.
Changes to this policy
We reserve the right to make changes to our Cookie Policy without prior notice. The changes are effective immediately upon posting.
